River Rafting
Experience Calgary's #1 outdoor activity and create unforgettable memories with friends, family, colleagues (and especially your furry friends). Our private rafts, BowYaks, and kayaks offer a unique vantage point to admire the city's beauty, and we even provide an optional shuttle from our shop to the starting point during July and August. Suitable for all ages, river rafting on the Bow River is a safe and exciting way to enjoy the outdoors. With the largest fleet in Calgary, you can cruise in style with our 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12-person rafts, all of which are sturdy enough to dance a jig on and specifically designed to "Float the Bow." Our all-inclusive prices cover free parking (limited availability), safety gear, and equipment inflation, so all you need to bring are snacks and sunscreen. You can even book special life jackets for your furry four-legged friends at no extra cost. No experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome.

What's Great
The team's exceptional service, recognized as one of the world’s top 10% of tour operators with Trip Advisor's "Certificate of Excellence," guarantees the longest float in the city with no time limit, as long as you return by 9 p.m. During the first third of our exclusive route, you'll enjoy the Bow River’s natural beauty, including wildlife such as deer, beaver, coyote, and various bird species like the great blue heron, kingfishers, and birds of prey, and float over a thriving population of brown and rainbow trout. You can stop at one of the many islands for a picnic or swim before continuing your leisurely journey. In one float experience, you will experience some of Calgary’s top destinations such as Baker Park, Bowness Park, Bowmont Natural Park, Silverton Park, Dale Hodges Park, Hextall Park, Shouldice Park, Edworthy Park, and Eau Claire Park as you wind your way to your final destination adjacent to Prince's Island Park. As you approach the heart of the city, you'll pass by parks, bridges, and residential areas before you glide into Calgary’s stunning downtown core. Upon arrival, their friendly White Hat Certified Lazy Day crew will greet you upon disembarking, take care of your gear, and send you on your way.
Local Tip:
Float season begins in mid-May, weather dependant. Bring a picnic lunch and take advantage of the numerous parks, islands, and nature zones along the way. Don't forget your camera to capture the breathtaking scenery. Book in advance to secure your trip!
