As Calgary expanded well beyond the meeting of the Bow and Elbow Rivers, each new neighbourhood took on a distinctive personality and you'll feel it as you explore the city.

Inglewood, Calgary’s oldest neighbourhood, still buzzes with independent spirit along its original main street. Mission began as the Francophone village of Rouleauville and still carries a trace of French charm in its cafés and streetscapes. In the Beltline, old brick warehouses now pulse with life — home to coffee shops, galleries, and some of the city’s most exciting restaurants.
