(Temporarily closed) The soothing waters of the Banff Upper Hot Springs have been rejuvenating visitors for over a century. Surrounded by the spectacular Canadian Rockies, the outdoor, mineral-fed hot pool offers a natural way to relax, unwind and soak in the mountain scenery. Visitors to the pool can also enjoy a variety of non-soaking attractions within the Upper Springs Bathhouse. Interpretive exhibits provide a glimpse into the history and hydrology of the springs. The bathhouse also features a restaurant, gift shop, and spacious change rooms with heated floors. Open year round, Banff Upper Hot Springs is located on Mountain Avenue, 4 km south of the Banff town site, and 128 km west of Calgary. Please note: no pets permitted. Certified service dogs are permitted throughout the facility, except in the pool. Picnic sites, hiking, and walking trails nearby.
