In the Forensic Lab, unravel Calgary’s most impressive stories of crime by examining actual evidence and challenging yourself to forensic experiments. On top of the fun, discover multiple exhibits on safety and crime prevention. A family-friendly space that allows visitors to truly get behind the scenes of a police service and understand what it takes to keep a major city safe. Volunteers run hands-on experiments in the Forensic Lab and are keen to answer questions about policing equipment, specialty units and the history of policing in Calgary. Take a ride in the HAWCS helicopter (Air Support) simulator, challenge yourself to match evidence to suspects and learn important safety information.
