Orchard’s interior design features an open and spacious environment reminiscent of a Mediterranean villa. The well-appointed dining room is reminiscent of European supper clubs, with ample seating, a custom-fabricated bar and a series of chandeliers which envelop the space in a warm, inviting glow. The ambiance is relaxed and familiar, providing a calming respite from the busy streetscape outside. Find them at the base of the SODO building and adjacent to the Marriot Residences. There is street parking, and a large, retail-level parking lot directly across from Orchard’s main entrance. Chef Jenny Kang builds upon her experience as Head Chef of Calgary institutions Shokunin Izakaya and The Bow Valley Ranch to deliver a menu that offers classic European dishes with an Asian flair. Guests can expect a familiar yet surprising selection of menu items including gluten free, dairy free, raw and vegan dishes that challenge preconceived notions of Mediterranean cuisine.
