The Return of Restore & Revive is a temporary exhibit that takes a deep dive into the people and processes behind the restoration of Lougheed House in the 1990s and early 2000s that led to the opening of the House as the museum you see today. View it any time the museum is open (Friday-Sunday, 11:30 am 3:00 pm) from February 7 until April 13.
Experience the rich architectural history of Lougheed House National & Provincial Historic Site and Museum. Built with exquisite materials and attention to every detail in 1891 by Senator Sir James Lougheed and his wife Lady Isabella Hardisty Lougheed, this Beltline beauty has seen more than 130 years of Calgary's history. Through the Restore & Revive exhibition, learn about the dedicated people who meticulously restored the House in the late 1990s and celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lougheed House as a museum.
