Join Lougheed House Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25 for the opening weekend of Foundation to Future, the new core exhibition that explores the fascinating transformations of Lougheed House, the people within its walls, and its place in Albertas history. This exhibition will tell Lougheed Houses story for years to come and is the culmination of many years of work.

✨May 24 Behind-the-Scenes Exhibit Tour
Step beyond the historic house walls and explore the making of Foundation to Future in this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour led by artist and exhibition designer Peig Abbott. From initial concepts to final installation, Peig offers a rare insiders perspective on how art, history, and design come together to honour the past while envisioning the future.

✨May 25 Home to History: Historic Houses as Monuments
Join us for a thought-provoking conversation about the role of historic house museums in our communities. Joe Anderson, Professor of History at Mount Royal University and former member of the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, and Shannon Murray, Executive Director of Lougheed House, will explore how these special places shape public memory and why they matter today.
