Digital Voices Exhibition
On display at The Confluence Oct. 3, 2024-Jan. 2, 2025
A showcase of digital artwork by eight local Indigenous artists presented by the City of Calgarys Indigenous Public Art Program will be on display starting Oct. 3, 2024. Access to the exhibition is included in admission to The Confluence Cultural Centre.
This exhibit invites you to witness the diversity of artists expressing their relationship to this place Mohkinstsis while maintaining their own cultural identity. We can see how the land grounds all with a sense of belonging and allows personal experiences and stories to flourish. The artworks were selected through a selection panel with additional work chosen by curator and lead of the Indigenous Public Art Program Jessica McMann.
This exhibition is presented in partnership with the City of Calgary and Calgary Arts Development.
Digital Voices may be unavailable on occasion due to private events in the Lower Barracks. Please call the front desk at 587.288.1406 during opening hours to confirm exhibition access before visiting.
