G7 Summit | June 15-17
Canada will host the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, bringing together leaders from the world’s largest advanced economies. There will be a Controlled Access Zone around Kananaskis Village that is expected to be in effect from June 10-18. If you are planning to visit Kananaskis during this time, please plan accordingly.
As the closest major city, Calgary will play a key supporting role—welcoming over 70,000 guests, including international delegations, media, and security teams.

Rotary International Convention | June 21-25
With 15,000 delegates from over 120 countries, the Rotary International Convention is the largest convention Calgary has ever hosted.
While the event itself will take place at the BMO Centre, there will be an increased level of visitors throughout Calgary as delegates and their families explore our beautiful city.
