#LoveYYC is all about supporting the local businesses that make Calgary great! Rediscover all Calgary has to offer and support local by visiting your tried & true favourites, or finally trying that restaurant, checking out that exhibition, shopping at that market, or going to that show. Throughout November, we are giving away four amazing experience packages (1 per week) on our Facebook page. From indoor adventures to a culinary tour, there’s something for every Calgarian.

To enter, share your love for a Calgary business and tag them in the comment section of the contest post on Facebook. The comment must be in response to the question asked in the post to be considered a valid entry.

Prize Details:

"Love to Play" Adventure Package: Get your heart pumping with this adventure-filled prize package including an indoor skydiving session for two at iFLY Calgary Indoor Skydiving, a $160 gift card to LaunchPad Golf, and two tickets to the Calgary Flames vs. Washington Capitals on December 3, 2022 at 8:00pm MST at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

"Love to Indulge" Culinary Package: Treat your taste buds with this tasty prize package featuring dining experiences from around the globe. The prize includes $150 gift cards to Italian joint D.O.P, modern Mexican restaurant Fonda Fora, iconic dim sum restaurant Silver Dragon and Nigerian favourite Ahinke’s Kitchen. It also includes a macaron making class for two at Ollia.

"Love to Create" Arts & Culture Package: Experience local luxury with this artsy staycation featuring a 1x night stay at Hotel Arts, a $200 gift card to Major Tom, and two tickets to Alberta Ballet's The Nutcracker, running in Calgary from December 16 - 24, 2022.

"Love to Relax" Pamper Package: Kick back and unwind on this relaxing staycation featuring a 1x night stay at The Dorian, a $150 gift card to Distilled Beauty bar, a $150 shopping spree at The Livery, and $150 gift card to Alloy.

 

Contest Dates:

CONTEST PERIOD: Four separate giveaways will run across various dates in November 2022 (the “Contest Period”), as specified below:

Week 1: The “Love to Play” Giveaway commences at 9 a.m. on November 1, 2022 and closes at 5 p.m. MT on Sunday, November 6, 2022.  
Week 2: The “Love to Indulge” Giveaway commences at 9 a.m. on November 7, 2022 and closes at 5 p.m. MT on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
Week 3: The “Love to Create” Giveaway commences at 9 a.m. on November 14, 2022 and closes at 5 p.m. MT on Sunday, Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Week 4: The “Love to Relax” Giveaway commences at 9 a.m. on November 21, 2022 and closes at 5 p.m. MT on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

 

Contest Terms & Conditions:

  • This contest is only open to residents of Calgary (Must have a Calgary postal code to win)
  • An entrants comment must be in direct response to the question asked in the Facebook post and tag the business to be considered a valid entry
  • Entrants must be at least 18 years of age
  • No purchase necessary
  • Approximate value of each package is $600
  • All information collected is used solely for contact purposes and adheres to Tourism Calgary's privacy policy
  • Prize includes items specified above only. All other costs, such as travel, parking or gratuity, are not included or provided by Tourism Calgary or any partner of the organization
  • Contest is administered by Tourism Calgary (Calgary Convention & Visitors' Bureau, 200, 238 11 Ave S.E., Calgary, AB, T2G 0X8)
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received
  • Winners will be contacted via Facebook on the Monday after each contest closes.
