First introduced in 2010, this Avenue is full of Fusion Cultural Activities. There is a stage where Music Performances will be showcased, that includes sessions of karaoke entertainment, Chinese traditional music performance, and drama skits. It is dubbed as a retro Hong Kong Style Flea Market in the 70s.
SPORTIF (1st ST S.E. between Riverfront Avenue and 4th Avenue)
This zone has all the energy you could imagine! Family and kids can visit the Jungle Bouncer supported and manned by Cardel Place staff. You can test out your golfing skills at the Longest Putt Challenge; or Power Shootout at the Calgary Hitmen / Roughnecks booth and for a chance to win some swags of the pro-teams. The zone also finds the Soccer Corner and the Chinatown Classic 3on3 Street Hockey. This is also a major promenade that you can gain access to all the other zones with ease.
MERCHANTS (2nd Avenue S.E. between Centre Street and 1st ST S.E.)
Thousands of products, goods and services can be found on this promenade. You can find Chinese Herb, Kids Merchandises, Books, Horticultural Products, Community Services etc. All the merchant tents are surrounded by a variety of permanent stores in Chinatown where you can get grocery, bubble tea, Hong Kong style cafe, Dim Sum and much more.
