Patrycja Piekutowska is one of the most famous Polish violinists. She has a Ph.D. in Music Arts. She is the first ever violinist in Poland awarded the greatest musical prize, MIDEM Cannes Classical Award 2008 for the recording of K. Penderecki Capriccio for a violin and symphony orchestra with the Composer conducting himself. Anna Miernik-Sobula graduated with honours from Secondary School of Music in Kraków in 2008, where she studied under professor Sławomir Zubrzycki. Currently she is a student of professor Andrzej Pikul at the Academy of Music in Kraków, and is working to obtain her Master’s degree.
