GlobalFest has the whole world in its hands with the OneWorld Festival with over 20 cultural pavilions, 12 ethnic food booths, 3 stages, Tipi Village presented by Nexen, international night market and a large children's entertainment complex. Two licensed areas feature beverages from some of our featured countries. Ethno-cultural performances start at 6:15 nightly on each of the three stages.
Elliston Park features fabulous natural green space and the lake at Elliston Park serves as the central focal point. Elliston Park is located on 17th Avenue SE (International Avenue) and 60th Street. There is no fixed seating in the park so we encourage patrons to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Blankets and jackets are also something to consider bringing along as evenings tend to cool down.
East Calgary is the most ethnically diverse community in Calgary and is where the world truly does all come together.
Waterfalls, flying saucers, screaming tourbillions, rings, saturns, happy faces, rockets, dragon’s eggs, chrysanthemums, nauticals, and fireworks effects shooting nearly 1,000 ft into the sky – just a few of the truly unique fireworks effects you may see at Elliston Park.
