About the event
Older kids will love this immersive journey through time. Campers will be transported to the 1860s to the 1950s at Heritage Park, where they will experience the lives of Fur Traders, Indigenous Peoples, Settlers and beyond as they explore different time periods and ways of life in Western Canadian history. Dressed in historic costumes, campers will:
Hear stories at the First Nations Encampment
Trade for furs and make Bannock at the HBC Fort
Sling lightning by sending morse code messages
Become an apprentice and use an antique printing press
Discover why automobiles outpaced horse drawn vehicles (and take a wagon ride!)
