Campe rs will be transported to the 1860s to the 1950s at Heritage Park\, where t hey will experience the lives of Fur Traders\, Indigenous Peoples\, Settler s and beyond as they explore different time periods and ways of life in Wes tern Canadian history. Dressed in historic costumes\, campers will: \n\nHe ar stories at the First Nations Encampment  \n\nTrade for furs and make B annock at the HBC Fort \n\nSling lightning by sending morse code messages  Â \n\nBecome an apprentice and use an antique printing press \n\nDiscover why automobiles outpaced horse drawn vehicles (and take a wagon ride!) \n \nAge Groups: \nCampers are grouped by age to ensure everyone has fun\, ag e-appropriate experiences. If you do not receive your confirmation\, please email schools@heritagepark.ca\nA more detailed camp information package\, includi ng behaviour policies\, participation waiver and medical form will be sent closer to the start of camp.\n\n \nCostumes:\n\nAs part of the unique and historical experience of our camps\, all campers are loaned a historically accurate costume that must be worn each day of camp.\nAll pieces must be re turned and in good condition on the last day of camp or you may be charged a damage fee.\n\n \nCancellations and Transfers:\n\nIf you need to cancel your registration\, Heritage Park will issue a full refund (minus a $100 ad ministration fee) provided you cancel at least 3 weeks prior to the start o f the booked camp. No refunds will be issued after that time.\nTransfers wi ll be permitted up to two weeks before the start of the camp\, subject to a vailability.\nWe are unable to pro-rate the cost of camp if your child need s to miss any day(s).\nHeritage Park reserves the right to cancel a camp if minimum registration numbers are not met.
