In the immortal words of Christina Yang: “There’s a club. The Dead Dads Club. And you can’t be in it until you’re in it.” Arizona O’Neill (Opioids & Organs), David A. Robertson (When I’m a Moshom), and host Rita Sirignano are all card-carrying members. Join them as they share their experiences navigating family and loss through writing.
This event is part of Wordfest’s Imaginairium festival, running October 13–18, 2026. Meet more than 50 writers, thinkers, activists, and inspirers from around the world in Calgary. Wordfest also presents authors across every genre throughout the year.
