Thank you for contributing to Tourism Calgary's Events Calendar! We love the opportunity to showcase the breadth of things to do in Calgary to locals and visitors alike. Please review the Event Calendar Criteria & Approval Guidelines before submitting your event. Note that Events are manually reviewed and published; please allow up to two weeks for your event to appear on the website.

Event Calendar Approval Guidelines

APPROVE

An event must meet one or more of the following requirements and/or outweigh the reasons to reject:

  • Shows the breadth of "Things to Do" in Calgary

  • Is tourism-driven

  • Fits within one of Tourism Calgary's Ultimate Host City pillars

  • Is on for a limited time

  • Is consumer friendly

REJECT

Tourism Calgary has the discretion to reject any events that meet one or more of the following criteria and/or outweigh the reasons to approve:

  • Sales or promos; if it could live on the Deals page, it is not an event

  • Fundraisers

  • Corporate events or seminars

  • Is the same as the regular business offering or a regularly occurring event (e.g. trivia or bingo nights)

  • Details are limited or unclear

  • Outside 40 km of city limits

  • Offensive content
