Ready Set Halloween

Ready Set Halloween Calgary is a free, family‑friendly Halloween event at the Calgary Police Discovery Centre. Kids can arrive in costume, collect safety lights, receive CPDC trick‑or‑treat bags, enjoy candy stations, and learn Halloween safety tips from officers. Preregistration recommended.

Families are encouraged to arrive in costume. Each young visitor receives a small wearable light to help them stay visible after dark, plus a CPDC trick‑or‑treat bag they can use later that evening. Officers will be on site sharing simple safety tips for Halloween night, and candy stations will be set up throughout the centre so kids can enjoy treats as they explore.

This daytime event helps kids get ready for trick‑or‑treating with safety tips, fun activities, and plenty of treats along the way. This is a drop‑in event with no fixed capacity. Additional activities may be added as we confirm what our CPS partners can bring to the celebration.
