PlayLab: Halloween Foley Fun

Join us on Halloween to step behind the scenes of sound and discover how everyday objects can become extraordinary sound effects!

In these hands-on, drop-in Foley art activations, participants explore the creative world of Foley — the art of creating and recording sound effects for film and television. Using a mobile collection of props, instruments, and recording equipment, participants can create their own sound effects for classic, family-friendly Halloween movies such as Mickey Mouse: The Haunted House.

NMC invites participants of all ages to experiment with ordinary objects to create extraordinary (and spooky) soundscapes!
