How True Is a True Story?: The Conjuring 2 (2016)

Have you ever wanted to know the real story behind movies based on true events? The reality is that these films often blur the lines between fact and fiction. We will enjoy a range of classic films and modern blockbusters to find out how well they measure up to history.

Before the film, there will be a 15-minute presentation about the true events that inspired it. You may be surprised to learn what is accurate and what is pure Hollywood. Spoiler alert: the truth is often stranger than fiction!

Tickets include a small bag of popcorn, presentation and movie screening, and after-hours admission to The Confluence Cultural Centre. Additional snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase.
