Free Throw & Microwave

Free Throw & Microwave bring their tour to The Palace on Wednesday, October 28th with special guest Carly Cosgrove!

Formed in Nashville in 2012, Free Throw has cemented their place as a foundational powerhouse of modern indie-punk and Midwest emo. The quintet—led by vocalist Cory Castro—is celebrated for their raw, open-hearted lyricism and high-energy catharsis. Their music perfectly balances gritty, anthemic pop-punk hooks with intense, post-hardcore vocal bursts and intricate guitar work.

Hailing from Atlanta, Microwave has spent over a decade carving out a unique and unpredictable lane in the alternative rock scene. Operating as a power trio, the band masterfully blends the loud-quiet dynamics of ’90s grunge, the raw vulnerability of emo, and the polished hooks of indie pop.
