Father's Day Weekend Car Show

We're throwing it back this Father's Day Weekend with the perfect event for the whole family - a historic car show!

Did you know that the Lougheeds were early adopters of the automobile? This June, we're excited to welcome the Stampede City Model-A Ford Club for an outdoor, free day of summer fun. Come see the grounds dotted with an impressive collection of Model-A Fords and a pop-up exhibit on the Lougheed family’s automobiles.

About the Stampede City Model-A Ford Club:

With over 90 active members in 2026, the Stampede City Model-A Ford Club (SCMAFC) is a group dedicated to the restoration and operation of historic Model-A Ford vehicles. Since September of 1972, SCMAFC has worked hard to share their automotive knowledge with future generations and preserve the knowledge and skills necessary to keep them on the road. Many of the roughly 110 cars amongst active members are almost 100 years old, having been manufactured by The Ford Motor Company between 1928 and 1931. Together, members are proud to share their car’s history through workshops, tours and participation in community events, and driving excursions as a club to scenic spots like the Kootenays.
