DESCRIPTION:We're throwing it back this Father's Day Weekend with the perfe
 ct event for the whole family - a historic car show! \n\n \n\nDid you know 
 that the Lougheeds were early adopters of the automobile? This June\, we're
  excited to welcome the Stampede City Model-A Ford Club for an outdoor\, fr
 ee day of summer fun. Come see the grounds dotted with an impressive collec
 tion of Model-A Fords and a pop-up exhibit on the Lougheed family’s autom
 obiles. \n\n \n\nSpecial thanks to City of Calgary Downtown in Motion grant
  for supporting this project. \n\n \n\n \n\nAbout the Stampede City Model-A
  Ford Club: \n\n \n\nWith over 90 active members in 2026\, the Stampede Cit
 y Model-A Ford Club (SCMAFC) is a group dedicated to the restoration and op
 eration of historic Model-A Ford vehicles. Since September of 1972\, SCMAFC
  has worked hard to share their automotive knowledge with future generation
 s and preserve the knowledge and skills necessary to keep them on the road.
  Many of the roughly 110 cars amongst active members are almost 100 years o
 ld\, having been manufactured by The Ford Motor Company between 1928 and 19
 31. Together\, members are proud to share their car’s history through wor
 kshops\, tours and participation in community events\, and driving excursio
