Milpa
A Feast For Your Senses
The striking dining room models a Colonial-Mexican style. Highlights of the space are the grand turquoise-lit arches running perpendicular to the depth of the room. The bar takes the stage as it embodies the importance of community and celebration, and the restaurant showcases both open and semi-private spaces that capture the energy and vibe with a smart and functional layout. Playing in the background is our own Latin music favorite hits, the restaurant and soon to be patio overlooking 17th Ave. Find the restaurant located just steps off of energetic 17th Avenue. The menu consists of shareable dishes separated into hot and cold items, with many adapted from Chef Herrera’s family recipes, like the coconut ceviche. And explore the inventive cocktail menu, crafted with Mexican inspiration. She is a third-generation Mexican chef with classical training as a pastry chef working her way through Spain, France, Italy, and Belgium at some of the world’s top restaurants. You may also recognize Chef Elia Herrera as she was a contestant on Top Chef Canada and Top Chef Mexico.
