YYC Hot Chocolate Fest 

Sip a variety of hot cocoas during YYC Hot Chocolate Fest all throughout February to warm up your winter and determine the blend that roasts them all! With over 70 participating locations, there's no shortage of hot chocolate to enjoy.

Chinese New Year Festival 2024 

The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre's Chinese New Year Festival 2024 is a sensational celebration of our city's rich cultural tapestry. Meteor Shower by Steve Martin 

In 1993, a meteor shower occurs in Ojai, California. Alberta Theatre Projects invites you to the world premiere of the new Canadian play The Black Bonspiel of Wullie MacCrimmon. When Wullie MacCrimmon, a shoemaker in the 1930s foothills town of Wild Rose, muses aloud that he would give anything to skip his curling team in the MacDonald Brier, the Devil (a travelling salesperson who deals in wholesale souls and retail sin) suddenly appears and makes him an offer.

Back for 2024, you can see the king penguins outside of their habitat as they take a royal promenade through zoo grounds! The Penguin Walk, presented by WestJet, offers the king penguins an opportunity for winter enrichment as well as additional daily exercise. Up to fourteen king penguins will participate in the daily march!
