Calaway Park Rides

With over 30 rides, it’s easy to fill an entire day hopping from seat to seat. The Park’s top rides include:

  • The Vortex: This looping neon green roller coaster is a Calaway Park landmark. Its 21 m (69 ft) drop and double corkscrews make it a must-try for any thrill seeker.
  • Timber Falls: Calaway Park's take on the beloved log flume is the place to be on a hot summer day. Riders travel through Timber Falls Sawmill, going down three drops including a true soaker at the end.
  • Sky Wynder: Looking for a great view of the Rockies? Sky Wynder takes riders up 12 m (40 ft) before dropping (and spinning!) them again and again.
  • Ocean Motion: If you enjoy the feeling of your stomach dropping, then hop aboard Ocean Motion. The ship swings back-and-forth, getting higher and higher with each swing.

For those with younger children, Calaway also offers classic rides like bumper cars, bumper boats, a carousel, and The Rocky Mountain Railroad.

Games, Shows, and Treats

Come for the rides, stay for the games, shows, and mini donuts. Midway games are scattered throughout the park so you’re never far from your next challenge. Same with the corn dogs, cotton candy, churros, and ice cream.

Calaway Park’s high-energy live entertainment changes every season. All the performances are 20-25 minutes and included with admission. Past acts on the Celebration Square Stage have included magic shows, comedians, and musical theatre.

On a hot day, two of the best places to cool down are the Showtime Theatre, which features a short Cinemagic 3D movie, and the CP Spray n’ Play park.
