Local Shops & Hot Spots
To really get in with the locals, take a tour around these not-so-secret spots. Top of the list is the Bridgeland Market (because most of our day is planned around food). This neighbourhood grocer has all the fixings for a mid-afternoon charcuterie board crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
Next up is Lukes Drug Mart where you can find a perfect, and obscure, souvenir. Their shelves are lined with run-of-the-mill drugstore products but also an impressive vinyl collection, small houseplants, and unique apothecary finds. As a bonus, if you’re feeling like all this shopping is making you need a little caffeine boost, their baristas can whip you something up while you shop.
If that cup of coffee wasn’t enough, drop into Bike and Brew for another cup but more importantly to check out their bikes and accessories.
Lastly, we can’t forget the furriest family member on your souvenir list. Bring Fido back something special from Doodle Dogs. They carry their own in-house brand as well as other Alberta-made brands like Dog Dog Goose.
