One of North America’s largest polo facilities with over 300 acres. Nine full-sized playing fields, an outdoor arena and school, viewing for thousands of spectators, and barns that can accommodate up to 350 horses. The Polo season at The Calgary Polo Club lasts from June through September. Regularly scheduled games are held in July and August. Founded in 1890 and one of the oldest clubs in North America, visitors can learn to ride polo ponies and play polo with customizable lessons, events, and introductory 'Try Polo' experiences. Drop in or pre-book your experience from May to September and take advantage of their private and group lessons, tournaments, and more. Family friendly for ages 5+, ideal for groups of two to ten people, and all equipment is provided. Tiered junior, intermediate, and advanced lessons are available. Horses and equipment provided. Spectating is free. Located 35 minutes Southwest of Calgary.
