Across from historic East Coulee, in the Drumheller Valley. Surrounded by stunning Canadian Badlands landscape, the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site offers up fascinating and story-rich tours, preserving the last of 139 coal mines in the Drumheller area. A choice of tours will take you back to the hard work and hard living of the days of the coal mine. Check out the Atlas in October for 'Atlas After Dark' and December for their Christmas in the Coulee experience.
