The GRAND
Culture. Creativity. Community
For over a century, The GRAND has been part of Calgary's story. Established in 1912, Western Canada's oldest theatre is more than a historic landmark. It's a home for artists, a gathering place for community, and a space where Calgary's past meets the future of performance. From bold performances and cultural celebrations to unexpected experiences and new ideas, The GRAND brings people together through creativity, storytelling, and connection. As a non-profit organization, their purpose is to collaborate with Calgary's arts community, offering a stage to amplify voices, share stories, and create art that reflects and serves the city's diverse communities. Their vision extends beyond the next performance. They're building a future where The GRAND continues to be a home for creativity, connection, and cultural impact for the next 100 years and beyond.
