Zine Workshop

Make a 1-page comic or zine with the guidance of a published Gytha Cooperative artist! We will teach you the steps and process for consideration of ideating, penciling, inking, lettering and colouring a comic or zine as our artist instructor provides feedback. They will also be able to field questions about working with a professional publisher, editing and refining a comic or zine for print and distribution, and how to turn your artistic passion into a career!

Our goal is to work towards building a better comics industry rooted in fair compensation through a living wage at an hourly rate, sustainable ongoing employment. ​We support Canadian talent through the publication of stand-alone comic books, quarterly comic and short story based anthologies, and zines.
