Youth Provincials 2026
About the event
Alberta Basketball will be hosting the 2026 Youth Provincials (YP) Tournament in Calgary at various locations. This serves as the championship tournament for community youth basketball in Alberta and represents the culmination of the fall–winter season.
Held annually during March, the event brings together boys’ and girls’ teams from across the province for two full days of competitive play. YP is designed to:
Celebrate grassroots basketball
Provide a high-quality competitive environment
Bring communities together from across Alberta
Highlight the development of young athletes and coaches
