WinSport Drive-In Movie

Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, join us at WinSport for movie time!

OK, so that’s not exactly how the original goes. But if that saying brings back fond memories, you won’t want to miss our upcoming community event at WinSport — our first-ever drive-in movie. The show is set for the evening of Thursday, August 13, in WinSport’s west overflow parking lot.

We are thrilled to be featuring Cool Runnings, a funny and family-friendly Disney movie that was inspired by the story of the Jamaican bobsled team at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics and was filmed right here at Canada Olympic Park. It’s a story of courage, perseverance and hope, mixed with some hilarious lines that will have the whole family laughing.

Tickets are now available for this special event. There is no individual admission, just a parking fee of $41.50 per vehicle. The gates will open at 7:00 p.m. Showtime is 9 p.m.

Please note that while it is our intention to start the movie promptly at 9 p.m. when the sun sets, the start time could be delayed by a maximum of 10 minutes to allow the necessary amount of darkness. We want everybody to be able to see the screen and enjoy the show.
