Walking Tour to Peace Bridge & Calgary Latin Festival

Enjoy a fun summer day with us as we go on a walking tour to the Calgary Latin Festival, Fiestaval Latino! Starting our journey at Kensington, along the Bow River, through the Peace Bridge, and ending at Eau Claire Park, join us for an exciting celebration of Latin American culture. Take pictures and explore Downtown Calgary with ISS!

Schedule:

1:00 PM: Gather at ISS Lounge

1:15 PM: Depart to University Station

1:35 PM: Leave University Station

1:45 PM: Get off at Sunnyside Station

1:45 PM-2:10 PM: Walk through main Kensington Road, ending by Peace Bridge 2:10-2:30 PM: Walk by Bow River, ending in Eau Claire Park

2:30 PM-4:00 PM: Festival

Note: Please be at the ISS Lounge (MSC 275) by 1:00 PM, as we will be walking to University Station. After the Festival, attendees do not have to return to campus with the group as they are free to stay longer. As this is a Walking Tour, please wear weather and activity-appropriate clothing and footwear.
