Tom Phillips is a legendary Calgary singer-songwriter and country/roots-rock musician who has been a bedrock of the local music scene for over three decades. Often referred to as Calgary’s favourite true "Cowboy Troubadour", he fronts the versatile five-piece backing band Tom Phillips and the D.T.s (Difficult Transitions). Known for his poignant lyrics, sister-harmony vocals, and rootsy honky-tonk sound, his decades-long career includes releasing 10 acclaimed albums and being awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for his cultural contributions to Alberta.
