Obscura presents: Sunflower Dreams — Re:Trans Album Release Party

Join us as we celebrate the official release of Sunflower Dreams' debut album, Re:Trans, with an intimate night of underground bass music on Calgary's Commonwealth Patio on August 28, 2026.

From deep, immersive soundscapes to high-energy club rhythms, the evening will explore the many corners of underground bass music as we mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of our community's most unique artists. Nominated as Indigenous Artist of the Year, Sunflower Dreams continues to lead as an example of the incredible talent right here at home.

We're also proud to debut a brand-new, locally built sound system from The Grim Project, delivering Re:Trans the way it was meant to be experienced.

Supporting the celebration are performances from babyteeth.exe, RIAH, SmoCo x Alkove, followed by a special Obscura Crew Jam to carry us into the late hours.

Capacity is limited, so arrive early and be part of this special release with us. Note that the patio is covered but may be slightly colder in the late hours at this time of year! Pack a layurrr.
