SallyV Truss & Lana Skauge

Sally V. Truss has been on the loose ever since she 'ran away and joined the circus' of travelling folk singers in the late 1960s. From Highway 22, her world expanded to include Toronto, Halifax, New Orleans, Houston, Vancouver - and many roads in between - by way of coffeehouses, concert halls and bars.

Lana Skauge has captivated audiences across Canada and the United Kingdom with her storytelling performances. In Made of Snow and Story, she brings that same intimate magic to the page.

This remarkable collection gathers contemporary fantasy stories and poems that explore memory, myth, identity, and the quiet mysteries of everyday life. Drawing inspiration from folklore, personal reflection, and the landscapes of the North, Skauge crafts tales that feel both timeless and deeply human.
