Plant Parent Workshop for Beginners

Join this workshop to learn tips on becoming a successful "plant parent"!

Looking for a new hobby, the perfect house decor, or just love plants but don’t know where to start? Come learn more about plants, starting from the very basics!

This workshop is fun, interactive, and perfect for beginners!

You will learn:

• How to select indoor plants
• Provide basic requirements
• Watering and repotting techniques
• Pest control
• Tackle common plant issues

Workshops are recommended for people ages 12 and over. Children under 12 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children).

The workshop is admission by donation! Suggested: $20 - $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.

About the facilitator:

My name is Germi, I am a visual artist and a plant enthusiast. I grew up with a house full of plants since childhood. When I tried to take care of my own plants, I always struggled to do proper care. In recent years, I have gotten the opportunity to work in the garden department, where I got more knowledge and experience about plants. Since then I have been passionate about educating, encouraging and helping people in taking their first steps and finding joy in this hobby!
