An active voice in Winnipeg’s jazz scene, Nolan Gottfried performs on alto and soprano saxophone and has appeared with a variety of jazz ensembles and projects, including Winnipeg jazz-fusion group Chickadee. His playing brings together expressive improvisation, modern jazz influences, and the energy of a new generation of Canadian jazz musicians.
