About the event
Experience Calgary’s vibrant digital and gaming community at the free Neechi Clan Weekend Takeover, a two-day esports and content creation event at Bow Valley College in the heart of downtown. Created in partnership with Indigenous-led community Neechi Clan, the weekend includes interactive workshops, mentorship, career pathways, and a live esports tournament featuring games such as Fortnite and Mario Kart. Day 1 focuses on learning and connection, while Day 2 welcomes the public to compete, spectate, and engage with local creators. This event offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore Calgary’s emerging digital entertainment ecosystem and Indigenous innovation.
