Join the University of Calgary and Calgary Public Library for a special keynote by Dr. Wilton Littlechild.
Dr. Wilton Littlechild is a Cree Chief, Residential School Survivor, and lawyer. He has worked with the United Nations and made significant contributions to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.
Throughout his career, he has advocated for the rights and protections of Indigenous peoples in Canada and internationally.
Hosted by Dr. Michael Hart, PhD, vice-provost (Indigenous Engagement), this keynote address includes a conversation with UCalgary President Dr. Ed McCauley. Piikani Elder Reg Crowshoe, Hon. LLD’01, will open and close the event in a good way.
