Music Cities Convention 2026

Music Cities Convention 2026 is coming to Calgary for the first time from September 29 to October 1, 2026, bringing together artists, music industry leaders, city builders, policymakers, educators, and music lovers from around the world to explore the powerful role music plays in shaping vibrant communities.

Hosted by the National Music Centre in partnership with West Anthem and Sound Diplomacy, the three-day convention will feature inspiring conversations, performances, networking, and opportunities to discover Calgary's incredible music ecosystem. The event will extend beyond the conference with free public concerts, artist showcases, and community programming, giving Calgarians and visitors the chance to experience the city's vibrant music and cultural scene.
