Calgary-based multidisciplinary artist Harvey Nichol created a series of large-scale murals for containR, a new arts park and community gathering space in Calgary's Inglewood community.
Rendered in Nichol's signature linocut-inspired style, the murals will bring a bold and cohesive visual identity to the containR site. As the project expands across multiple containers, you will be able to immerse yourself in Harvey's imagined world, where the artwork will also celebrate the community and diverse artistic disciplines that animate the space, including dance, music, performance, and community gatherings.
The Mural Launch Party provides an opportunity to watch artists add finishing touches, enjoy a drink, and check out live painting.
