About the event
Unique workshop idea: KINTSUGI Japanese technique
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold, a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections.
“You won't realize your full potential until you go through the tough times,"
Embrace the beauty of imperfection.
Join our Kintsugi workshop and learn how to restore broken bowls with a touch of gold or silver. Rediscover balance, acceptance, and personal empowerment through this transformative art form.
Repairing pottery with a contemporary twist.
Experience the beauty of urushi (Japanese lacquer) in our 1 Day Modern Kintsugi workshop. Unlike conventional modern kintsugi methods that use only artificial glue. You will leave satisfied with both the experience of Kintsugi and the final product of your Kintsugi pottery from the workshop.
Sessions take place in private home studio-basement art studio. The studio space is intimate and thoughtfully prepared for your visit. Full location details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
