Mavo is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who is rewriting the Afrobeats landscape. He is best known for his signature breakout sound—which he coins "Burbur music"—blending traditional Afrobeats with rap, street melodies, and his own invented slang vocabulary called Bizzylingua.
