We’ll explore songs from many genres, cultures and eras, uncovering what makes each one special and captivating. As we listen, we’ll chat about key songwriting concepts like melody, harmony, rhythm, lyrics and more.

Each class will offer a unique way to listen, with musical examples showcasing different songwriting techniques and styles. By the end, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how songs work, how they fit into our lives, and will hopefully feel inspired to write something of your own!
