Kick-Off Party

The Kick-Off Party officially opens the Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival with a special evening that includes a moment of remembrance honouring Canada’s veterans and active-duty service members. Featuring a special acoustic performance by The Trews and Highlanders, and meaningful participation from The Young Canadians and local Royal Canadian Legion branches, this celebration brings our community together to recognize and thank those who have served and marks the official opening of the festivities leading up to the 113th Grey Cup!

After the programming, a pipe and drum band will lead guests outside for an exciting sneak-a-peek of the Festival activations that will take place over the next three days and head to the outdoor stage for a full electric performance from the Trews.
