About the event
Gareth Jones and the players of the Alberta Winds return to the stage in a program of music that depicts a spark: of memory, of life, of the creation of the world itself. How can we witness the strange and powerful events of…THE BEGINNING?
This concert will feature a rare performance of David GILLINGHAM’s Symphony No. 2 (“Genesis”), based on Biblical scripture and inspired by the first nine chapters of The Book of Genesis.
