In Concert: Young Professional Musicians Collective

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of beautiful music as the YPMC takes the stage in the Central Library’s stunning Welcome Gallery!

The Young Professional Musicians Collective (YPMC) presents a lively Wind Feature Concert, where young woodwind and brass musicians take centre stage! While orchestras are often associated with the sweeping sound of strings, this family-friendly concert shines a spotlight on the unique colours, sounds, and personalities of wind instruments.

The program features selections from Prokofiev’s beloved Peter and the Wolf, Saint-Saëns’ The Swan from Carnival of the Animals, Devienne’s Six Duos for Flute and Viola, and more!

YPMC is dedicated to empowering young musicians through performance opportunities while bringing free and accessible live music to the community.
