Holiday Hounds
About the event
Holiday Hounds isn’t just another holiday outing—it’s a one‑of‑a‑kind experience where families can celebrate the season while making a real difference. On December 13th at YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre, guests will enjoy festive fun while supporting the life‑changing work of PADS (Pacific Assistance Dogs Society) and YouthLink Calgary programs.
What makes Holiday Hounds unique?
You’ll get to meet, cuddle, and take photos with PADS dogs - highly trained assistance animals who bring comfort, independence, and resilience to individuals across Canada.
You’ll connect with members of the Victim Assistance Support Team (VAST), who work alongside PADS dogs to provide trauma‑informed support to victims of crime, and hear firsthand how they make a difference every day.
Families can capture professional Christmas photos with Santa AND the PADS pups, something no other Calgary event offers.
Plus, admission includes:
A hilarious photo op with the jailed green holiday hooligan (kid‑favourite!)
Complimentary cookies, milk, tea & coffee
Hands‑on holiday crafts - A festive scavenger hunt
Full access to our interactive police museum experience.
With limited spots and unlimited memories, Holiday Hounds is Calgary’s safest, most heartwarming holiday event—perfect for kids ages 5–12, but fun for the whole family. Every ticket sold helps raise vital funds for PADS and YouthLink, making your holiday memories matter even more.
